Hi there
Who said mermaids have to be beautiful This was just a texturing exercise, I hope you like the results. I'd be happy to read some comments.
The model is partly based on a sculpture by Jordu Schell (head/torso). Modelling and rendering was done in XSI 4.0. I used MI's new MI_SSS shader for the subsurface light effects. Other than that, only normal lighting, no GI etc.
